Customs value and protection of client's rights

We are pleased to announce that our team of professionals has once again confirmed the customs value of imported goods in the course of responding to the customs inquiry.

As a result of our response to the inquiry, the customs agreed with the declared customs value and returned to our client the full amount of the security for payment of customs duties and taxes.
Responding to a request is a very time-consuming process, requiring joint and coordinated work with the client on the preparation of documents.
In particular, we were able to confirm the receipt of funds to the seller (given that the payment was made with the help of a payment agent); justify the lack of possibility to provide an export declaration and answer other questions of customs.
Only at this stage during customs control can you confirm the customs value and provide the maximum number of documents, including requesting them from the supplier of the goods.

In the future, if there is a need to appeal the decision of Customs, new documents cannot be provided (only if you prove that it is impossible to provide them during Customs control).
A competent response to a request from the customs authority is an opportunity to avoid unnecessary litigation and unnecessary financial expenses.
